Just like after ice storm Landon here, there seems to be such terrible beauty associated with such natural upheavals. Glad there was no damage.

Not too bad around here but a guy came to quote today for some work. He lives about 20 miles away and his brother's chimney stack came down, took out a big hole in the roof and landed on two cars, his, and his son's brand new one.

Very dramatic, definitely a photographer's haven.

I really wasn't sure whether to go after all the dire warnings but ventured out cautiously. The problem is the narrow lanes. There were far better more dramatic locations but a big risk of falling trees across very narrow lanes that are a dead end. So even if you got there you could be cut off coming back. It's like snow, a great temptation to go and photograph but in the end too risky.
