It's a long arduous trek to Pilchard Cove, but this is what you get if you're lucky, a beach to yourself and the perfect weather. The beach is varying grades and slopes of shingle, which makes it twice as hard to walk. It is the classic two steps forward and one step back, and on the way you think, "is this worth it ?" Of course it is, even if you do have to do the whole thing in reverse and now with the wind against you.
Should I assume you did not come across any naturists? 😁😉
