Low High

[39-365] 13th September 2020 - More often than not we see the Egret in the creek awaiting the fish on the rising tide. Today we had a heron too. Today is the lowest high tide of the year. 3.9 metres. Friday will be the highest 5.6 metres. While we watched the tide come in, a small boat came up the creek and crept up with the tide unable to reach the pontoon because it was so low. They hung around waiting for high tide.

We went to the pub for a drink as it was a beautiful "Indian Summer" day. While we were there on our second drink the couple from the boat appeared and took the table that was reserved. It was the lady's birthday. They could not have had a more beautiful day to celebrate.
