When I stroll on the beach I always keep my eyes peeled for unusual stones. The beach just looks beige at a distance, but up close it is a rainbow of colours and patterns. Imagine my surprise when I spotted this little gem yesterday which must have been thousands of years in the making.
The sea had to grind it down to this size, score out the little hole and then find the perfect complimentary pebble to fit neatly inside.
