[201-365] 18th. February 2021- There is no way of knowing why a couple of hundred years ago this cottage was built with a curved end wall. It doesn't face the prevailing wind and there is no obvious reason why whoever built it decided to make life more difficult for themselves, but it's sort of nice that they did, because it is different and because sometimes unanswered questions are a good thing. Without the curve it probably would not have got a mention here today where potentially everyone in the world could enjoy his work.
The builder could not have imagined the telephone let alone photography, the internet or photo blogging and may never have met a person born more than twenty miles away.
