Bolberry Down

[229-365] 18th. March 2021- I've posted pictures from Bolberry Down before as it is one of our favourite cliff top walks, but I try to see something different every time so this is a new view. The gorse is looking stunning at the moment especially in contrast with the blue sea way down below.

You need a good head for heights on this walk and you need to be aware that at certain points you are very close to the edge so don't be too adventurous or you end up dying of Social Media disease, where that perfect shot could be your last.

It was yet another perfect day, yes I know you are getting bored with these perfect days, but we just happen to be having a beautiful settled spell of mild calm weather at the moment, with just the occasional spanner in the works, like a gale last week followed by heavy hail. Generally though we just want to be out as much as possible while it lasts.

Granted this is an older post, but your perfect days are starting to sound like my perfect days in Florida. In the last 6 weeks we have had one day of gray/rain, ( of course the Floridians are complaining about the water level being low) the rest of the time the sun has shown brilliantly with a slight cool breeze. Trully a perfect day for those of us who worship the sun. As to your photo...I don't know where you are standing in order to be able to click such a beautiful view, but by your description, I am not sure I would be willing to hike to where you are. 😉

Replying to

It looks like the whole of the UK got snow this week apart from us, so no complaints. Our log delivery arrived today so we are fully stocked, so bring it on. 🙂
